Intro weekend
Last weekend we traveled to the beautifully sunny Fontainebleau for the very first UBoulder climbing trip!

Both beginner and experienced boulderers have been searching and climbing rocks in this French forest. For some people this was the 10th time in Fontainebleau, for some the first time outdoor climbing, and for some even the first time climbing. But once we were in the forest, everyone was equal. In addition to bouldering, we had fun with a photo hunt, swimming in the river, looking for glow sticks in the forest, and of course we had enough alcoholic beverages for the evenings.

Shira-petting credits are still being provided. With 65 sentences, Henk currently has the most: 325 full minutes of pleasure. If you still miss some hugs in your life, speak to Henk for some survey-filling tips.

Training
As you might have already read in an earlier e-mail, training sessions are planned from Sunday 15 September and onwards. These will take place weekly in climbing hall Sterk between 19:00 and 21:00. This is one of our discount moments, which means that you can enter for only six and a half euro!

Would you like to learn to get better at bouldering? Drop by! Do you feel too good for this, but want to get to know your fellow U-Boulderers? Drop by! Don't feel like climbing but would like to have a drink at the bar afterwards? Drop by! You don’t think the above questions are about you, but you happen to read this email? Drop by! You have no excuse.

Even your friends have no excuse, they can join for one free training if they register via www.uboulder.nl/proeftrainen. As a member you don't have to register for the training, so feel free to walk in!

Rab NSKB
For the students among us, the Rab Dutch Student Championship Bouldering will be held in Sterk at Saturday 23 November. This is organized by the USAC this year, this is the student alpine club from which most UBoulder board members originate. If you don’t think you’ll be the best student boulderer in the Netherlands, you can still participate in the qualifications. There are also plenty of side events taking place. So come on over!
